Metamora Grist Mill Built in 1845, the Metamora Grist Mill began as a cotton mill and evolved into a flouring mill and a feed mill and is now an operating grist mill and museum. Visitors can pick up a bag of the mill's stone-ground cornmeal or flour. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from April through December during the hours of 9am to 5pm.
